Action base:

What is an action?
A signal your brain sends to a part of your body to complete a simple task.

What is an action string?
A series of signals that your brain sends to different parts of the body to do either simultaniously, or in quick succession. The more complex the Action String is, the higher the DC, the more Adrenaline/Synapse is required to complete it.

What information does the signal include?

How much effort are you putting into it.
What you are trying to do.
How you are trying to do it.
The desired effect (usually dictated by "what" the action is.)

How long does the action take to complete?

A single action is completed as you do it, and takes roughtly between 1 and 3 seconds. These are generally fast, simple triggers, such as ducking, or throwing a basic punch.

An action string generally takes a number of seconds to complete, depending on how many different actions you are stringing together.
There are two basic type of Action Strings, the independent action string and the dependant action string. The independent action string can partially succeed, based on the number of successes rolled. The dependant action is all or nothing, if a part of the whole fails in a dependant action string, the whole fails.
